A Salba exclusive recipe.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
    (you may substitute ½ cup brown rice syrup)
  • 3 Tablespoons ground Salba®
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 7 ounces flaked coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)

 

  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
    ½ to 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 cup chopped sundried cherries
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Cooking Instructions

  • Mix graham cracker crumbs, 2 ½ Tablespoons Ground Salba®,(save the rest to sprinkle on the top), sweetener of choice and butter. Press into a 9x13 inch pan. Sprinkle coconut, cherries and almonds on top and pour over condensed milk and bake at 350° (F) for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. You may spread chips over the top when melted or just leave the chips on top until they cool. Sprinkle the remaining Salba® over the top of bars while chocolate is still warm. Cool completely and cuts into bars.
